Battle pacing is a creative choice in Ichiloto, and the engine supports more than one rhythm.

Ichiloto supports more than one battle tempo, which means combat can communicate personality as much as mechanics.

Some games want the deliberate space of classic turn-based planning. Others want the urgency and flow of active-time pressure. Neither is automatically better, but each changes how the same enemies, abilities, and menus are felt by the player.
